Freaky Friday...Christina Aguilera

What is happening to Christina Aguilera...?

I can't quite figure out what has changed about her that's making her look so strange these days, aside from the huge breasts that she claims are real.
Ummm, yeahhhh, most real boobs look that ODD.

{see right}

I used to think Christina would go further than Britney Spears because Christina's voice is so amazing and Britney's voice has pretty much always been digitized.

But,
since Christina has been MIA for a while, is she now trying to play catch up by dressing like Britney{as shown below} or trying too hard to stay young and hip and instead heading down that slippery slope of plastic surgery gone wrong...?

Britney performing, then Christina at the VMAs in waaay too tight attire

Strapped in and bumpy at the VMAs

Showing off her perfectly fake looking 'real' boobs...

Something is just different about her...

Better, but still No...Please put them away.

A Week in the Life...

A week in the life of Angelina Jolie and family in the South of France...

W Magazine
has published photos of Angelina and her family taken by life partner Brad Pitt. Here, some of our favourites...

Click here to read the cover article at W Magazine and the great comments that people are making about this ultra-private, yet ultra-public photo shoot. You can also read about Brad's request to shoot Angelina in film that had to be sourced and flown in since it is no longer manufactured here.

I Got Your Crazy...

Britney Spears is making yet another comeback ...thankfully.
We'd much rather hear about her music than her messed up personal life.

Recently released, her new "Womanizer" video.

Again, her voice is heavily digitized and the video itself seems to be no different than her other work, aside from costume and wig changes.

Too bad...she could have really pushed this one.
...and you gotta love the line "You think I'm crazy...I got your crazy."

She's got that down, huh?

Heel-Less Wonders

By now I'm sure that you've seen Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham in her killer latex, thigh high 5 1/2" platform boots - with no heel.

These beauties are by Antonio Berardi and are the very latest in the "extreme shoe" trend that's been happening in fashion for the
past few years...and I gotta say that I absolutely love them!

Berardi says, "...It’s just like wearing a regular shoe. They are graceful and there is a ballerina nature about them. Having a heel is really just psychological.”

Here, some other wild and wonderful artistic versions of shoes by mainstream designers...

Freaky Friday: Then and Now...

As you know, I'm not a fan of any sort of plastic surgery or injectibles, so thankfully, at 38, I'm still fortunate to look about 10 years younger than I am.

However, I AM fascinated by those who go under the knife and morph into someone else, be it for the better or worse. Here, Before and After shots of some celebrities {and B-Listers} who have undergone a procedure or two.

{ { Megan Fox } }
I think Megan Fox is gorgeous, but I'm not fond of her saline implants that look like boulders.

{ { Scarlett Johansson } }
A new slimline nose and cheek implants did a lot for her Hollywood look.

{ { Jennifer Garner } }
Even those we think are naturally beautiful, undergo a lip injection or procedure.

{ { Charlie Sheen } }
Too bad they don't offer personality transplants...

{ { Carrot Top } }
ick... and we didn't think it could get any worse.

{ { Tori Spelling } }
One of the queens of plastic surgery...2006 was her best "face", but her boobs have always been a disaster...

{ { Kate Beckinsale } }
Boobs, then no boobs...

{ { Anna Faris } }
You can't become a "Bunny" without a major overhaul.

Unfortunately, it gets worse.

If you read my previous post "Desperate Measures" regarding the campaign by Declare Yourself, a national nonpartisan, nonprofit youth voter initiative aimed at energizing young adults to register and vote in the 2008 presidential election and not be silenced, you would have seen photos of Jessica Alba, Christina Aguilera and others posing with their mouths taped, gagged, stapled and sewn shut with tears running down their cheeks.

Now, there is a satirical new video by the voter initiative, featuring Jessica as a overly dramatic home shopping host of a show called "Snatch It Up With Jessica" complete with her mockery of an overtly Caucasian-sounding voice, trying to sell "The Muzzler 2008" featured in the photos mentioned above. And, sadly, I'm sure we can all surmise why the word snatch was used in the title.

This time Jessica is joined by Hayden Panettiere, who models the Muzzler. Hayden supposedly loves the Muzzler so much that she had hers customised in hot pink and surgically implanted in her face. Gee!

See for yourself...

"Jessica and Hayden have an amazing ability to connect with young adults," Marc Morgenstern, executive director of Declare Yourself, said in a statement. "Behind all the humor of the PSA lies a very serious message of what it actually means to sit out the election and effectively silence oneself."

(¯`'•.¸(¯`'•.¸(¯`'•.¸ * * *¸.•'´¯)¸.•'´¯)¸.•'´¯)

And, although Jessica looks the best I think I've ever seen her and I love pink, I'm still not buying it...and I'm sure that the only thing the youths of America will now be {trying} to buy is "The Muzzler".

Freaky Friday...Worst Dressed

Not only do celebrities receive free clothing, shoes, make-up and accessories on a regular basis, They have enough money to pay someone to make them look good and teach them how to dress. So why do so many go out looking so badly knowing full well that they will be photographed?

I've grown to like Kim Kardashian...and normally she dresses well, but this outfit has to go unless she's on the way to work at a strip club...and that hair style has to go too!

Yet another Janet
Jackson "Wardrobe Malfuntion"...and this one is scarier than the last.

Kelly Ripa caught in a severe wind storm. Poor thing.

L to R: Pink {pics 1 & 2} exhibits her knowledge of sign language & continues to dress badly on a regular basis, Ashanti straight out of a video from the 80s

(¯`'•.¸(¯`'•.¸(¯`'•.¸ * * *¸.•'´¯)¸.•'´¯)¸.•'´¯)

L to R: Mary-Kate Olsen {pics 1 & 2} should really hire a stylist full-time, Beyonce {along w. beau Jay-Z} dresses down...waaay down. Not pretty, is it?

Desperate Measures...

We're not really loving the media campaign used by Declare Yourself, a national nonpartisan, nonprofit youth voter initiative aimed at energizing young adults to register and vote in the 2008 election. It's clearly just a desperate ploy to gain attention.

It's not gonna make us wanna vote and we would hope that intelligent young voters wouldn't base whether or not to vote on a celebrity shock campaign. Let's really hope that they are looking at the "talents" of the presidential candidates instead.

The ads depict Jessica Alba, Christina Aguilera and others posing with their mouths taped, gagged, stapled and sewn shut with tears running down their cheeks.

Oh, what drama!

he tag line..."Only you can silence yourself. Make them hear you. Register to vote now."

In regards to the ad, Jessica says, "I think it is important for young people to be aware of the need we have in this country to get them more active politically. People respond to things that are shocking."

The dramatic images "really resonate" with the issue of voting, according to the 27 year old star. "If you don't register and vote and make a difference, and hopefully change the bad things that are happening in our country, you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself," she told People Magazine.

Seriously, Jessica... Until recently you've downplayed the fact that you are of Mexican decent in order to get ahead in Hollywood. Why should anyone listen to you? We just wish we could keep you gagged and in a muzzle full time.

Shock value? Yes. Will it work? I doubt it.
