Too Hot...

I've been working still...long into the weeeee hours of the morn, even in the heatwave LA has been having...but wanted to stop by for a quickie. :)

I've almost finished "Milla" [right]. She needs a few minimal touches....and a great handmade frame. She'll be featured on my new business cards as well as in the show.
My newest most favourite "Where's the Party?" painting [left] is almost done. WHEW! She's been a labour of love and I can really see the transition here of where I've wanted my art to go...and showing a clear link to my past as an avant-garde fashion designer.

I'm a little hesitant to post them before my "Curiosities" show in October cuz I'm a big believer in the jinx, but there's a sneak peek.

I really wanted to show you the naughty little treasury that my "Kiss My Grits" card is featured in.

The treasury is called "Now That's Just Rude!!" ...and it's already to #3 on the Hot List!

Bombus does a lot of decoupaged art products... from vintage maps & comics. She has chairs, mirrors, plates, prints, greeting cards and so very much more. Here's one of her gorgeously decoupaged tables.
