Will the REAL Lady GaGa Please Stand Up...

Remember back in the day when everyone...and I mean EVERYONE, wanted to be Madonna? Well, these days, it seems that everyone wants some Lady GaGa.

At first glance, one would think that Lady GaGa is on the
cover of the April issue of Blackbook Magazine, which is their MUSIC issue. But, a closer look reveals that it's actually Nicole Richie, who is NOT even a musician. Blackbook must have not been able to get the REAL Lady Gaga, so they dressed up another celebrity to look like her.

Tsk Tsk...some will do anything to sell a magazine.

What's UP with...?

Here are more of our favourite celebs with looks that make us ask "What's up with...?"

Lisa Rinna
What's up with...her running around Los Angeles desperately trying to campaign for her role on "Melrose Place"? What a mess...Oh, what's that we hear?? Uhhh, right...SILENCE.
photo...Michael Buckner/Getty {right}

photo...Dr. Billy Ingram/WireImage

Kim Kardashian
What's up with...her hideous hippie retro outfit? With all the money she has, you'd think her stylist would never have the day off. Kim obviously needs the help. We can't stand the jeans tucked into her pants OR the headband.
photo...SplashNews

Lily Allen
What's up with...her wearing the biggest, most whitest sneakers she could find with this outfit? Is she preparing for a sprint to the ladie's room once she's filled up on all that alcohol?
photo...FlyNetOnline

Tyra Banks
What's up with...her even thinking about walking out of the house looking like THIS when she has the nerve to judge model hopefuls and tell them they should always look their model best? Miss J would not approve of this hot mess, I'm sure.
photo...Pare/X17 Online

Tori Spelling
What's up with...her going out with her hair undone, wearing a 'dressing gown' that looks like she literally just rolled out of bed?
photo...PacificCoastNewsOnline

Helena Christensen
What's up with...her outfit that looks like she bought it from Rainbow Shops? The trendy dress details are contrived and overly done ...and to top it off, she paired this mess with a white handbag.

Disclaimer to all the nutjobs who don't "get it"...This post is meant to be in fun. Please don't take any of the comments personally. Anyone who leaves their home in a bad outfit is subject to someone somewhere poking a little fashion faux pas finger at them.

This Week's EyeCandy...

Some of our readers have been inquiring as to why we don't feature men every once in a while. Well, it's not really our style to drool and oogle over the male celebs and what they wear. But!...since we do "trash" those who didn't quite pull it together in our "What's Up With..." feature, then we can surely give some love to those who did. So, we give you "This Week's EyeCandy...".

And, to give something back to our loyal readers who asked, we offer you David Beckham.

We also applaud Amy Winehouse for finally pulling herself together again.

Dirty Pretty Rant...Adele

Singer
Adele is featured in Vogue Magazine's 'Shape' Issue this month, looking a lot less...well, shapely.

They've primped, prodded, positioned and photo-shopped her into what they obviously think is an ideal size and we don't like it one bit!

Here's Adele BEFORE Vogue... a voluptuous beauty:

And, here is Adele in the current issue of Vogue, totally positioned and photo-shopped into what looks like a size 6-8. Again, this is from Vogue's 'SHAPE' issue, which supposedly 'celebrates' women of ALL shapes and sizes:

photo...Annie Liebovitz

Boo to Vogue! Let's hear it for REAL women with REAL curves and be done with all of this insane photo-shopped, lipo-suctioned, plastic surgeried fakeness that abounds anymore!

And, if you've not yet heard Adele, who just recently won a Grammy for Best New Artist, then here's a treat for your pretty little ears:

Artist Spotlight... NOODLE & LOU ❤

Update...
The winner of the Lulette Heart Ring and Print of her choice from Noodle & Lou is
ANDREA. ...Congratulations!

❤ ❤ ❤

Jenn of Noodle and Lou is a self taught illustrator and artist who creates whimsical little works of art to delight and inspire. Her original paintings on canvas, collage, archival art prints are such fun and definitely elicit a smile from anyone who sees them. She also has an newer addition to her work... "The Lulettes"…a collection of little polymer clay dolls, busts and quirky houses. You'll definitely want to check them out and add several pieces to your wunderland collections.

"I am a self taught artist following my dream of working for myself and selling my art. My art is meant to make you smile
and bring some FUN into your home. "

Jenn has been successful at making her career as an artist and now lives very happily in the Chicago area with her husband, a cat named Mazzy and two adorable boys, who inspired her business name of Noodle and Lou...it comes from the nicknames she gave them when they were babies. Cuteness!

Spotlight...Noodle & Lou

❤ Tell us a bit about yourself…

Hi everyone! I'm Jenn and I live in the Chicago area with my husband and 2 sons. I'm really a Florida girl though...born and raised there and truly missing the beach right about now! I am sort of known for my love of polka dots but am equally obsessed with all things vintage. I can usually be found in a black shirt or dress paired with blue jeans, running around after my 2 boys or working late into the night in my studio. I am a self taught artist following my dream of working for myself and selling my art. My business is named after the nicknames I had for my sons at birth. mr. noodle and little lou!

What inspires you? Where do your ideas come from?
Old books inspire me a lot. Sometimes I will search through a vintage book until a random, funny or sweet sentence pops out at me...and that can inspire a whole painting or sculpture…and my ideas? my mind really never stops churning! I keep a pad of paper by my bed to capture all my "middle of

the night" ideas. The trouble is time! There is NEVER enough time to do everything I want to do:) My best ideas come from me just playing around with the clay or paint. I very rarely sketch a painting before I start. I just go for it and let the paints and textures guide me.

Apart from creating things, what do you do for fun?
well...I have 2 boys, ages 8 and 4, so there is always some sort of crazy fun going on in my house! On the rare occasion that I am alone (really rare), I love to shop. Especially at junk or vintage shops. I really love interior decorating... I'm always moving something around or making some area of my home new again:) I also enjoy reading and looking through my stacks and stacks of old magazines.

❤ Do you work at your art/craft full time or do you have another job?

This is my full time job (that I share with being a Mom of course) and it has been for the past 4 years. yahooo!

What has been your most memorable moment selling your art?
My first sale was pretty memorable:) I dreamed of starting my business for many years and couldn't believe it was actually happening! My favorite memories are of the times my oldest son, Jake, would sit and paint with me. My kids have always been a huge part of my business:)

What are your current obsessions/interests?
Polymer clay, birds, houses, Anthropologie, Etsy, anything with numbers on it, polka dots, cute shoes, beating my husband at Wii tennis...

Any advice for fellow artists...
Be true to yourself...follow your own voice and your art will shine:)

If you could be any character, who would it be and why?
Superheroine... Wonder Woman of course! I grew up in the 70's...she rocked. Need I say more;)

Do you think you lived in a past life? If so, where & when?
hmmmm...I'm pretty sure this is it.

Tell us your future plans for your business...
My plan is to just keep trying new things... keeping it fresh for my sweet customers/friends. I belong to a lovely and talented group of artists at SpookyTimeJingles.com where we create Halloween and Christmas goodies each month of the year. I'm working on a blurb book and I'd love to expand with licensing in the future! (or maybe I could just clone myself? either one)

❤ Anything else you'd like to add about yourself or your work, etc….
I'd really just like to thank my loyal followers and friends. I wish I could think of new and exciting

ways to say it...but I appreciate you all so much. Thank you, TRULY, for helping me to live my dream! xoxo

❤ Who are your favourite Etsy sellers?
Wow...there are so many etsy sellers that I adore! I'll say the first person that popped into my head...MorningLori. I LOVE her wonderful sculptures and softies. Not only is she super talented... she is a tremendously adorable person too! Take a peek at all my etsy faves though as there are so many wonderful shops and friends!!

What's UP with...?

Here are more of our favourite celebs with looks that make us ask "What's up with...?"

Britney Spears
What's up with...Britney's lame costumes and "wardrobe malfunction" during her current "Circus" concert tour?
During her performance in T
ampa, FL this week, she barely moved during her song "I'm a Slave for You" and then, when the song ended, there is footage of her saying "My p*ssy is hanging out". One would think that a seasoned performer would have done several rehearsals in the outfit before she performed LIVE.

photo...Jeremy Cowart/WireImage

Check out this clip {below} of a very rigid Britney performing and listen towards the end when she 'forgets' that her microphone is still on.

Fergie
What's up with...her new dark hair? We like it, but think it makes her look much older.
photo...Wenn

Lindsay Lohan
What's up with...her launching a line of self-tanning products when she can't seem to get it right on herself? The self-tanning line is named "Sevin Nyne" after her favourite numbers...and the photos accompanying the product's ad campaign are as bad as her spelling. {below}
photo...Sevin Nyne

Angelina Jolie
What's up with...her look for the upcoming film "Salt"? We understand that the hair is for a role, but the lines showing on her face make her look waaaaay over her supposed age of 33 years.
photo...INF

Michael Jackson
What's up with...the King of Freaks...er, Pop suddenly coming out of hiding to announce his "This is It" final tour? We don't understand why ANYONE would willingly give this guy their hard-earned money.
photo...Goff/INF

Nicole Richie
What's up with...the hippie look she is still wearing? We hate it and want it to go away.
photo...Marcos Vasquez/Ramey

Madonna
What's up with...her dressing up like a school girl to celebrate Purim at the Kabbalah Center? With the costumes she's donned throughout her career, she could have done much better than this!
photo...Edward Opinaldo/Pacific Coast News

Courtney Love
What's up with...this hot mess? ...Really, what goes through her mind?
